From Santa Monica to San Diego, auditoriums of the early 60s brought surfer together by the masses for a chance to hoot and holler at a screening of the latest and greatest surf film. Jim Freeman’s first film Let There Be Surf was no different. Up and down the coast, Jim stoked surfers with “adventures and episodes of the finest surfers in the world.”
